Always have a hard time figuring out what to get my mom for Mother’s Day. After doing so many photo sessions for other Mom’s this year I thought… Let’s do a photo shoot for my mom too! My mom must have read my mind because THE NEXT DAY she sent ME a text suggesting we take some pictures with my kids. YAY!
We spent Mother’s Day shopping for photo wardrobe and got the kids some really cute outfits at Gymboree. Adorable! Coordinating outfit picked out for mom and a plan to head to a beach in Half Moon Bay the next evening for a photo shoot and dinner. While it was a warm mid to hi 70’s at home the beach was a cool 57 degrees and a little windy. It’s only a 30 minute drive, but the weather is so different. Kids outfits had to quickly be scrapped for whatever warm clothes I could find in my car. And that hairbrush I was so sure I’d packed…gone. But really it didn’t matter because the wind was going to have it’s way with the hair anyway.
This was the kids first time at an ocean beach. They loved it even though there was no swimming in these chilly waters. My daughter kept saying she REALLY liked the big sand box. 😉
So here are a few shots from our Mother’s Day shoot at the beach in Half Moon Bay and little video I whipped up. ;-)By the way… I’ll soon be adding a family video option to my pricing packages so you could soon have one of your family too!
